"The Bus" Bettis, MVP running
back for the Pittsburgh Steelers, was nearly
sidelined with severe asthma. Once he got
his disease under control and was able to
continue playing professional football,
he became a spokesperson for the American
Lung Association and GlaxoWellcome, makers
of his asthma medication. This live-to-tape,
3-camera program is of a Sports Medicine
CME Conference where Bettis and a number
of NFL team coaches and physicians spoke.
The program also included footage of Bettis
visiting with high school students and several
on-camera interviews.
