A live, interactive teleconference linking experts at the American College of Cardiology’s 46th Annual Scientific Session in Anaheim, California, with physicians in 57 sites in China. Hosted by the College, the hour and a half event opened with a welcome from both the President of the American College of Cardiology and the Chinese Minister of Health. It then brought 12 internationally renowned cardiologists together for prepared presentations, extemporaneous discussion and responses to questions phoned in live from the audience watching in China. The broadcast included simultaneous translation from English to Chinese for the audience, and Chinese to English for the US based panelists.
